Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar opened on March 14, 2010 with one goal in mind. To bring sports to the Gayborhood in a way that every other bar was refusing to do. Whether it’s playing a Phillies game on one television or having to share television space with nightly music videos, there is only one true sports bar in the Gayborhood and that is Tabu!
Our first floor-which we call The Spectrum-has over 15 HD TVs and a premier sound system that’s ever changing and growing to meet our customer’s needs, Tabu has better sight lines than the best seats on the 50 yard line. We bring the action directly to your table with the sounds of the game and a dynamic atmosphere that centers our first floor space on sports 24/7.
Whether it’s the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Union, or 76ers, Tabu is your place for everything Philadelphia sports related. We cover the pros and college and if you do not see your game, just ask the bartender and we will work on putting on one of our televisions.
In addition to playing all the games, Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar has a long history of sponsoring every single LGBT sports league in Philadelphia. We have been honored by the Greater Philadelphia Flag Football League, City of Brotherly Love Softball League, Falcons Soccer League.
Tabu now features a pool table in The Spectrum, as well as a shuffleboard table on the Boardwalk (outside deck) for our customers, the Stonewall Sports League, and for future leagues to be joining Tabu. Come out and enjoy drink specials solely made available to those playing on our tables!
Being home grown in Philadelphia, we are Philly proud!
